National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and supports developed by this collaboration can help parents, other caregivers, and communities protect children and strengthen families.

Sheffield High School's Digital Media Design class has won the national Reach and Teach Campus Tour Video Contest. The win carries a $1,000 prize for instructor Allan Slusher's class.

This program is real with all real-life events recorded, thus it's strong! Lt. Reese speaks to students very straightforwardly in a language they understand and his message is very much needed today.

We have an important update for all Sheffield City Schools parents and students! Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, we will introduce the Yondr program to create a phone-free space that enhances teaching and learning. Studies show that 86% of schools using Yondr positively impact student safety and wellness.
