Principal's Message

Mrs. Arlisa L. Felton, Principal

Greetings from the Principal:

I am so excited for the 2023-2024 school year and the opportunity to serve you, the students and families of Sheffield Junior High School! It is my hope to build on the previously laid foundation in pursuit of excellence and to work alongside the dedicated faculty and staff to facilitate what I am sure will be a productive and gratifying year of teaching and learning!

I am a firm believer that students are a product of our expectations and that EVERY student can grow. My goal is to ensure an environment where students, families, and educators feel welcomed, valued, and safe. My goal is to ensure that Sheffield Junior High School is a place that is conducive to optimal student learning and to equip and support our instructional staff in providing instruction that is both engaging and challenging. My goal is to ensure consistent and clear communication between school and home so that, as a team, we are able to provide opportunities for our students to grow ~ academically, emotionally, and socially.

Let’s do this!  #believe #expect #achieve

GO BULLDOGS!

Arlisa L. Felton, EdS
